Bai Tu Long Bay is located in the Gulf of Tonkin, in the Northeast of Vietnam. The bay covers a sea area of Halong City, Cam Pha town and Van Don island district. It meets Halong Bay in the southwest, Cam Pha town in the west and Coto island district in the northeast. Bai Tu Long Bay consists of hundreds of small and large islands and many of which are large enough to have human residents.
