Trong Mai islet



Hon Trong & Mai islet is a symbol of Vietnam tourism. It's located in the southwestern part of Halong Bay, 5km away from Bai Chay Tourist Wharf, close to Dinh Huong island. The islet feature two rocks look like a rooster and a hen. At dawn, the brilliant light from far away shines red on these giant chicken together on the vast waves so romantic. From the water surface, the height of each rock is more than ten meters. The giant bodies on the slender legs seem like to fall down anytime. But no, millions of years have passed, the two chickens are still standing there.
