Trinh Nu cave
Legend has it that: Once upon the time, there was a beautiful girl living in a fishing village, her poor family was employed by a large fishing zone owner. The owner found the girl so beautiful that he forced her family to consecrate their daughter to him as his mistress when she refused because she had already had a boyfriend who was leaving for offshore fishing to prepare for their wedding day. The fishing owner did not stand for such a reason so he sent her to a lonely cave to subdue her will. But she suffered all such conditions as exhausting, starving.. until in a terrified raining storm night, she was petrified there...
That  night was also the night her boyfriend returned home and got to know about her accident. He was on his search for her rightaway not waiting for the morning to come. The heavy storm stroke and shattered his boat but he tried his best to get on an island which was half a mile from the island that imprisoning his loving girl. In flashes of the lightning, he found his beautiful and loving girl dying so he called her to prevent her death. But all of his cries were carried away by the strong wind. So he used a stone to clap on the cliff to get her attention. He did it again and again seeing her dying until exhausted and petrified (in Trong cave today). To the fishing people, Trinh Nu cave is their lovely house. To the loving couple, it's where they vow for love. The french in the old time named it Le virgin.
Today, when visiting the Trinh Nu cave, you can meet the statue of a girl standing with her long hair running down, her eyes languishingly looking to the mainland. Facing with Trinh Nu cave is the Trong cave with the stone statue of a man that in stormy nights people can still hear the earnest calls and claps on the cliff echoing in the wind roaring through the cliffs and the white foaming waves.
