Me Cung cave

It's about 2km from Titop beach to the southwest, located the Me Cung cave on the Lom Bo island, 25 meters to the sea level. From a distance, you can see the cave entrance like a cut through on the island slope. Inside the cave, there are chambers which are small but very sophisticated, the stone bearing the statues and beautiful patterns. There are colorful stalactites hang down from the ceiling made the stone lions, stone bears playing with each other, the curtains running down the cliff... A faint light from far overhead is the path that leads to the cave exit. Out of the cave mouth, you may climb a little higher to look down to the lake under which is surrounded by the mountain wall, very round, very wide. For all of the four seasons, the blue water looks like a mirror, which is home of such species as fish, shrimp, squid, seaweed, algae, corals, crabs ... Aside from the lake is a garden with many trees that people often called "royal garden".

When you get over the steep stone steps, you will meet a large rock hang over for cool and dry shade. It's recently discovered that there is a mammal fossil in the cave. The archaeologists identified Me Cung cave as one of the relics of Halong pre-culture, early Neolithic, from 7,000 to 10,000 years ago.
