Thien Cung cave is in the north of Dau Go island. As one of the most beautiful caves in Halong, it's wide, it's high with multiple chambers and numerous stalactites, stalagmites bearing strange shapes.

Thien Cung cave is the most beautiful cave in Halong and it covers approximately 10,000m2 with such a complicated structure that people invented a legend about the breaking up of the male Dragon with female Dragon based on what they see on the cliff.
In the inner corner, the cave opens to the sea with another small entrance. In the cave, there is an inscription found on the cliffs and the number 1901. Perhaps this is the autograph of the first explorers ventured to this cave. Now that they have built quite a staircase, the beautiful and sophisticated lobbies (outside and inside) The cave has also a lighting system for visitors to easily visit the cave. On 05 January 1998, Thien Cung officially opened to tourists and has since formed a wave of travellers to the Halong Bay.
